From Grief to Gratitude Coaching

Honoring Grief. Supporting Forward Movement.

Grief is not a problem to be solved—it is a human experience to be honored, integrated, and transformed.

Grief can arise from many forms of loss: the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, changes in health, retirement, identity shifts, or major life transitions. Often, people feel pressure to “move on” before they are ready, or they carry grief quietly while continuing to function outwardly.

From Grief to Gratitude Coaching offers compassionate, structured support for individuals who want to move forward without leaving their grief behind.

What This Coaching Is (and Is Not)

Coaching focuses on:

  • Present-moment awareness

  • Clarifying values and intentions

  • Strengthening inner resilience and self-trust

  • Supporting conscious, forward movement

Coaching is not:

  • This is coaching, not counseling or therapy

  • This work does not diagnose, treat, or clinically process trauma

The From Grief to Gratitude Approach

The From Grief to Gratitude model is an ICF-accredited coaching framework that recognizes grief as a natural and meaningful part of the human experience.

This approach:

  • Honors grief without pathologizing it

  • Encourages self-compassion and emotional awareness

  • Supports meaning-making and renewed purpose

  • Helps clients reconnect with what still matters

Gratitude

in this context, does not mean being grateful for loss—it means discovering what can still be lived, loved, and expressed alongside it.
